«Το παιχνίδι είναι στημένο», γράφει ο Ρόμπερτ Ράιχ at Καπιταλισμός για τους πολλούς όχι για τους λίγους recently released from’ Publications Livani. (more…)

In the new episode talking about two political books. The first essay is the The psychology of the masses of Gustave Le Bon (Gustave Le Bon), which can be written in 1895 but still it is a very timely book (translation I.Ch.Christodoulou, εκδ. Zitros). The Le Bon provides tyrants that will fully exploit the masses, and dissects with characteristic clarity the essence of the masses. The book is fascinating and worth reading again and again, to prevent the transformation of our people in mass.
The second book is Vladimir Putin, The man with no face journalist Masha Gkesen (Masha Gessen), tolmirotati a biography of the Russian president that actually causes its findings (Anna translation Astrinaki, εκδ. Pataki). The Gkesen deconstructs Putin and presents the most gloomy. Even if half of’ what states are, can not help but worry about the future of this country.

Below I quote an excerpt from a very nice’ the book: The South African writer Ntzampoulo Ntempele told me about: "Democracy does blur the line between certainty and uncertainty. People wont have another view in the morning and another in the afternoon, to rage and forget their rage, seeing eye to different things the next morning. Democracy encourages the feeling that anything is possible, the horizons of what people may think or try one widens. That is why democracy is exciting, fraught with difficulties, contrasts, ugly and beautiful moments ". My question what is the main positive element of democracy, The answer Ntempele: "Democracy is not" good "in itself, the regime is feasible to do good things ". And added: "Democracy is about citizens than, what is closest to the experience of faith. It is the sense that, Despite some obstacles, can succeed, to continue to seek solutions to their problems, Aware that, even if you do not know exactly where they go, things will get worse if they abandon the effort ".
